The in-kind grant valued over € 56 million will serve Mechanical Engineering, Metallurgy and Material Sciences faculties as well as Metallurgical Institute, Institute for Mechanical Engineering, Institute of Industrial Engineering, Development Center, Science/Technology Park, LECAD laboratory .

University of Zenica will receive Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) Software from UGS

Zenica, Bosnia and Herzegovina and PLANO, Texas – UGS Corp., a leading global provider of product lifecycle management (PLM) software and services, today announced it is providing 320 seats of its NX™, Teamcenter and Technomatix software to the faculty of Mechanical Engineering. The in-kind grant valued over € 56 million will serve Mechanical Engineering, Metallurgy and Material Sciences faculties as well as Metallurgical Institute, Institute for Mechanical Engineering, Institute of Industrial Engineering, Development Center, Science/Technology Park, LECAD laboratory .

The in-kind grant was acknowledged by the Federal Prime Minister, Dr Ahmet Hadzipasic, and received by the Rector of University in Zenica, Dr Sabahudin Ekinovic. The donation ceremony was held on June 20, 2006 in the Rectorate of the University of Zenica .

The in-kind grant is enriched by regional partnerships through UGS’ GO PLM™ (Global Opportunities in Product Lifecycle Management) program which serves more than 8,400 GO PLM Partners worldwide that collectively train 860,000 students on 696,000 seats of UGS™ PLM software each year.
