First Domestic Apple Pay Implementation in BiH
PING Software and Services, in partnership with Intesa Sanpaolo Bank, has successfully implemented full Apple Pay support within the m-Intesa mobile banking application. This marks the first implementation of its kind in Bosnia and Herzegovina delivered by a domestic software solutions provider. The project represents an important milestone for the local IT industry, reaffirming a strategic commitment to innovation and the adoption of next-generation digital payment ecosystems.
As part of the project, eligible cardholders can now add their payment cards to Apple Wallet directly from the m-Intesa mobile application, eliminating the need for additional steps or a visit to a bank branch. This significantly streamlines the Apple Pay activation process while enhancing the overall mobile banking experience. Once a card has been added to Apple Wallet, users can make fast and secure payments at any contactless point of sale, within mobile applications, online stores, and at contactless ATMs that support Apple Pay.
Apple Pay is built on advanced security technologies, including Face ID, Touch ID, or the device passcode. Payment card details are never shared with merchants or stored on the device, ensuring a high level of security for every transaction.
With this implementation, PING Software and Services has once again demonstrated its expertise in developing modern digital banking solutions and delivering complex integrations that enable banks to introduce new digital services more efficiently while continuously improving the customer experience.
