Industrial Security Clearance

PING has been awarded an Industrial Security Clearance authorising access to classified information up to and including the “SECRET” level, once again confirming the company’s compliance with the stringent standards required for handling highly classified data. Issued by the Ministry of Security of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the clearance enables PING to enter into contracts and deliver services on projects that demand the protection of classified information while applying proven physical, technical and organisational safeguards.
The clearance followed a months-long vetting process of the company and its personnel, during which no irregularities or impediments were identified. After the requisite training of employees who will work on classified contracts, representatives of the Ministry formally presented the Industrial Security Clearance to the company and its staff.
For existing clients that are required to conclude classified contracts, the clearance ensures the uninterrupted continuation of strategically important projects under full legal and security cover. It also opens the door for PING to participate in new projects with organisations obliged to sign classified contracts, whether they are in Bosnia and Herzegovina or in other countries with which a bilateral security-information agreement exists.
The Industrial Security Clearance is an additional confirmation of PING’s integrated management system, aligned with the international standards ISO 9001 (quality management), ISO 20000 (IT service management) and ISO 27001 (information security management), and reinforces that partnership with PING entails reliability, transparency and minimal security-operational risk.
